quotes

if you believe you can do it, you can do it

Teringat masa kecilku,
kau peluk dan kau manja.
Indahnya saat itu
buatku melambung
disisimu terngiang
hangat nafas segar harum tubuhmu.
Kau tuturkan segala
mimpi-mimpi serta harapanmu

Kau ingin ku menjadi
yang terbaik bagimu
Patuhi perintahmu
Jauhkan godaan
yang mungkin ku lakukan
dalam waktu ku beranjak dewasa
Jangan sampai membuatku
terbelenggu, jatuh , dan terinjak

Tuhan tolonglah
sampaikan sejuta sayangku untuknya
Ku terus berjanji
tak kan khianati pintanya
Ayah dengarlah
betapa sesungguhnya ku mencintaimu
Kan ku buktikan
ku mampu penuhi maumu

Andaikan detik itu
kan bergulir kembali
Ku rindukan suasana
basuh jiwaku
dan bahagiakan aku
yang haus akan kasih dan sayangmu
tuk wujudkan segala
sesuatu yang pernah terlewati.

Tuhan tolonglah
sampaikan sejuta sayangku untuknya
Ku terus berjanji
tak kan khianati pintanya
Ayah dengarlah
betapa sesungguhnya ku mencintaimu
Kan ku buktikan
ku mampu penuhi maumu.

TRANSLATION
The Best Thing For You (Don't Forget Father)

A thought of my childhood,
you hugged and spoiled me.
How beautiful was this moment
(that) made me bounching high.
In your side buzzing
the warmth fresh of your fragrant.
You told me everything
about your dreams and hopes.

You want me to be
the best one for you.
Obeying your rules
to stay away temptations
that I might do
at the time I am getting mature.
Don't let them makes me
being manacled, fall, and being stepped on.

God, please help
tell my millions of loves for him.
I will always promising
won't betray his fate.
Father please hear
how much I really love you.
I will prove you
I can fulfill your wish.

If these seconds
could be turned back
I would miss the ambience,
(that) washing my soul
and bring myself happiness,
for your love and affection I have thirstiness
to recreate everything,
that have been missed

God, please help
tell my millions of loves for him.
I will always promising
won't betray his fate.
Father please hear
how much I really love you.
I will prove you
I can fulfill your wish.

All the World's a Stage

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms.
Then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

-William Shakespeare-

A Fairy Song (William Shakespeare)

Over hill, over dale,
Thorough bush, thorough brier,
Over park, over pale,
Thorough flood, thorough fire!
I do wander everywhere,
Swifter than the moon's sphere;
And I serve the Fairy Queen,
To dew her orbs upon the green;
The cowslips tall her pensioners be;
In their gold coats spots you see;
Those be rubies, fairy favours;
In those freckles live their savours;
I must go seek some dewdrops here,
And hang a pearl in every cowslip's ear.

-William Shakespeare-

Smile (Michael Jakson)

Smile

-Michael Jackson (in Charlie Chaplin)-

Smile, though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by...

If you smile
With your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just...

Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just...

Smile, though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by...

If you smile
Through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile...

That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile

*note: keep smiling, guys.. :D
